		<description><![CDATA[Part of this problem could be solved by allowing employees to save money pre-tax to make up for income lost during leave. We could also allow employers (or even the state) to add money directly to this account to provide additional vacation or sick days.

For someone working 30 hours a week, they&#039;d need to save only 5.7% of their income to get a full 3 weeks of paid leave. Really, if you set this up correctly--web-based and all that good stuff--employees would be able to monitor their vacation really well and determine good trade-offs.]]></description>
